Ramen was originally from China and later on introduced in Japan in 1859. The early version of ramen was made of wheat flour noodles in broth and topped with Char Sui (Chinese-style roast pork).
Due to lack of food supply during the post-war, Ramen yatai(shop stand) became more in demand which opened the small scale entrepreneurship.
The modern style instant ramen noodles were invented by Momofuko Ando, the founder of Nissin Foods. In the early 1980s, it has then become part of the Japanese culture which was also introduced all over the world.
Here are some of the best instant ramen noodles in Japan that are way easier to cook without risking its pure ramen taste.

Nissin’s Chicken ramen is one of my favorite instant noodles in Japan. Aside from the easy preparation needed, it only needs egg as topping to get the best broth flavor.
The noodles are thin so it is very convenient to eat as well. The slurpiness is just like getting a fresh ramen bowl from any ramen restaurants.

1. Put 400ml of water in a small pot and boil for 3 minutes.
2. Once boiling, add the noodles and cook it for a minute and stir occasionally.

Well, if you love the smell and taste of garlic, then this instant ramen is all you need. It has rich garlic pork bone soup taste. Seasoning oil is a special oil that signifies the features of Kumamoto ramen.
Although it has other flavors, I still prefer having this tonkotsu ramen with browned garlic and black garlic sesame oil as it gets tastier after savoring a few slurps.
How to cook:
1. Boil 500ml of water in a small pot.
2. Cook it for 3 minutes and once done, turn off the heat, and add 1 bag each of the soup and seasoning oil (black ma-yu oil) and gently stir.
