Appearance

The average travel time on foot is approximately 1 minute from (JR Line) Shinjuku station – South Exit.

The exterior is an open-door type with some classy chandeliers. The English name of the restaurant can be seen outside so it isn’t difficult to find for anyone who wishes to visit this place.

Expect long lines especially during peak hours.

Ambiance

“Counter Seating”

“Ticket Vending Machine”

The dining area is neatly painted in white, promoting serenity all over the place. There are about 20 counter seats in total and yes, it is a limited space but it is comfortable to dine in. I also think that this place looks so neat and has a relaxing ambiance.

If you are eating alone this place is one of some good choices you can get! Dining with a friend or co-worker is also okay, however, you might need to wait a little longer for the turn over time.

Recommended Menu

“Yuzu Shoyu Ramen”

“Tsukemen”

Afuri ramen bowls are being served with two choices of broth, the shoyu(soy sauce) and yuzu (citrus junos). It is highly recommended to try Afuri’s signature yuzu broth as it gives that lemon tang and refreshing taste.
