Access from the Station
This tonkatsu restaurant is situated just 2 minutes away by walk from Roppongi station in the Hibiya line. Upon getting off the station, head to 1c exit as it is the nearest way out, or you can walk for 3 minutes coming from TOEI Oedo line.
Appearance
The exterior is quite classy because of its glass wall with mahogany frames. The restaurant’s name is written in both Japanese and English language so it is easy even for foreigners to find the place.
Ambiance
〜 Counter Seating 〜
There are about 14 counter seats right on the elevated part surrounding the kitchen area, and 10 tables with 2 chairs each.
〜 Table Seating 〜
The interior appears to be comfortable and neat from the counter area down to the table arrangement. There is enough space for customers to move around the dining area but it is not that wide. Just be mindful of other customers to avoid bumping into each other.
It has a cozy atmosphere which is usually common in fine-dining restaurants. The lighting is not so bright that it makes eating even more relaxing. The theme color perfectly blends with the atmosphere and despite the not-so-big place, it remains solemn and customers talk in a low tone of voice.
Since it is in Roppongi, there are both locals and foreign customers dining here. Long queue can happen during peak hours so better bring your patience with you. I assure you this place is worth it!
Recommended Menu
Highly recommended menu is the premium tonkatsu set meal! This is by far, the best tonkatsu I’ve ever tasted while stying here in Japan! The tonkatsu meal is freshly cooked upon serving. It is really crispy but not difficult to eat. The juiciness of the meat is just incomparable!
Additional Information
I highly recommend this place if you are eating alone or with a partner either a collegue, friend, or loved ones.
Free WiFi is available in the area!.
It may take a little longer to get a spot here especially during lunch time or peak hours.
