Access from the Station
Coffee WEST is situated just 2 – 4 minutes by walk from JR Tokaido Main Line (Tokyo-Atami) Yugawara Station. It is just beside the main road so it is very easy to find its location!
Appearance
The building is made of smaller yet sturdy-looking bricks in light colors that are perfectly puzzled together to form a grand exterior view. It also resembles to a castle made for movies and dramas.
The restaurant’s name is exhibited in English so even foreigners can easily notice this restaurant in just a single glance.
There was no queue when I visited the place on a Monday so I guess customers can come here any time without worrying about lining up for long.
Ambiance
You will be welcomed by these tables and seats located just few steps away from the entrance/exit area. There are also items that you can buy as souvenirs like bags, wallets, toothpick holders, keychains, and a lot more.
This is the west part of the dining area where the rest room is also located. There are tables and chairs good for 4 people.
I am overwhelmed by the interior of this coffee shop just as how I feel about its exterior. Overall, the dining area is really capacious that even if there are many customers inside, it doesn’t feel crowded nor suffocating for me.

“Wiener Coffee”
The creaminess of Wiener coffee here in WEST is really unforgettable. It has the right combination of bitter and creamy taste that makes this hot drink one of my bests! I am also impressed with this cup and saucer because of its elegant flower design giving a royalty aura.
“Banana Chocolate Parfait (with my coffee)”
I am not really a fan of desserts that contain too much sugar and I was hesitant to order this Banana chocolate parfait at first. To my surprise, it tasted so well-blended with all of the toppings. The sweetness is on a medium level and the fruit toppings like bananas, orange, and strawberries taste so fresh!
