Access from the Station
Travel time on foot is approximately 1minute from Exit 39 of Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line – Ikebukuro Station and 4 – 5 minutes from East exit of JR Line – Ikebukuro Station.
Appearance
Luckily situated just a few steps away from the station, this ramen shop is the talk of the town! Just by looking at the photo, you’ll see a lot of customers lining up just to get in.
I think the building is very well-maintained though it appears to be not new anymore.
Ambiance
The interior concept is just like the other ramen shops. The dining area has a very limited space but it is still well ventilated.
There are only 16 available counter seats so it is mostly the reason why customers had to line up all the time.
Many people come from all over the world and eat here while on vacation in Japan, making about 40 percent of its customers people from abroad. They have easy to understand menus in a number of different languages.

“Niku Dama Men”
Recently this dish has been overwhelmingly popular and you can tell why just from the picture. In the bowl, you can see three extra-large pieces of chashu (roasted pork soaked in seasoned stock, 2two soft-boiled eggs, rape blossom stalks and menma (fermented bamboo shoots).
This ramen bowl has one of the best flavors that you can find, really unique and will surely leave you overly satisfied!
