The exterior design is really simple having dark mahogany and yellow as color combo to lighten up the bilding view. It also appears as an old building but remarkably well-maintained.
The very popular Miso-based ramen is very satisfying and really has its own unique taste that makes a lot of customers keep coming back!

Kyushu Jangara Ramen
Travel time on foot is approximately 2 minutes from the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda line – Akasaka station, and 7 minutes from Tokyo Metro Ginza line Tameike-Sannō Station.
Jangara is a signature ramen of Kyushu or southern area of Japan. The broth is made from pork marrow/bones and the consistency is thicker than the usual ramen. Noodles used in most Kyushu ramen are often thin-sized.

Travel time on foot is approximately 5 minutes when you take the nearest exit (Exit-5) from Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line – Akasaka Station.
This restaurant is really hard to miss when you are on a hunt for something slurpy and hot on any day. It is just located at the corner of the street with some ramen posters on the wall.
The restaurant’s name has only Japanese characters being displayed in front of the shop.

Kaotan
Travel time on foot is approximately 3 minutes from Chiyoda Line – Akasaka Station Exit 7.
The exterior concept is not attractive at all and the restaurant’s name does not contain any English translation (might be difficult for some foreigners to find).
Kaotan offers a great-tasting shoyu ramen that has a light broth with so much of garlic taste and smell on it. This highly recommended bowl is really worth trying!
