Appearance

Travel time on foot is approximately 5 minutes when you take the nearest exit (Exit-5) from Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line – Akasaka Station.

This restaurant is really hard to miss when you are on a hunt for something slurpy and hot on any day. It is just located at the corner of the street with some ramen posters on the wall.

The restaurant’s name has only Japanese characters being displayed in front of the shop.

Long lines can happen at any time of the day so it’s better to visit the place and expect to wait a little longer.

Ambiance

The interior has a simple style and you can find the ticket vending machine(where you can choose your order) situated at the right corner.

There are about 14 counter seats provided for customers surrounding the L-shaped counter table in light mahogany color.

This place is famous so expect it to be crowded especially during peak hours.

Recommended Menu

Shoyu (soy sauce) Ramen

This ramen bowl is just one of the highly recommended options that you can find at Tomo. The well-balanced broth has a lot of great booster toppings and the noodle is on an average texture and size.

Additional Information

Recommended for family dining, eatin with friends or co-workers.

Kids are welcome.

Visited “Akasaka mendokoro Yū” again, ordering “Hōjun agodashi shōyu ramen. (Mellow dried flying fish soy flavour Ramen) Soup is rich and mild, but too too rich. Flying fish, kelp and pork flavour. I feel a bit sweet. Homemade chili oil on the side to change the taste. After eating half of ramen, I added chili oil. However, it changed the taste too much. Noodle is medium thick curly one. Nori seaweed, bamboo shoots, roasted pork, fresh mizuna (potherb mustard) Overall 4,1 out of 5 • Please check my tours in Tokyo on Facebook page "Best Experience Japan" from my Instagram profile link @akiw0520 and click fb.me/akira0520 • #akisactivities #ramen #ramennoodles #ramenchallenge #ramen🍜 #ramenlover #noodlesoup #soupnoodles #soupnoodle #soupnoodle #noodle #noodles #japanesefood #japanese_food #wontonnoodles #wontonnoodlesoup #ラーメン #ラーメン好き #ラーメン巡り #ラーメン大好き #らーめん #ラーメン好きな人と繋がりたい #ラーメン部 #食べログ百名店 #ラーメン百名店
