Hay Day gets more and more interesting to play because as you increase your level, you get to unlock lots of items for production which make the game even more entertaining than it used to!
Finding mallets is a challenging task to do when you are a Hay Day farmer, or at least based on my own experience.
Here are some of the ways that I have tried in order to successfully get mallets and other tools for expansion which my farm badly needs so keep reading until the end.
Open Red Mystery Box
Red mystery box serves as my best friend whenever I want to get rare items for expanding my farm!
Though I couldn’t get a lot of items for expansion regularly, still, I always check red mystery box if it’s unlocked or not whenever I see one!
Luckily, I sometimes receive rewards that I wish to have just like this piece of mallet which is really essential for land expansion.
One of the easiest ways to get this piece of expansion is by watching the short videos that are available every day.
On the other side, mallet appears (less frequent than the other tools for expansion) as a gift right after watching a 30-second video. Well, this is only based on my personal experience so it means this is not always the case.
Plant and Harvest Crops
If you’ll ask me what’s the best way to get free items on Hay day, I’ll surely choose planting and harvesting crops because it is like hitting “three birds with one stone”!
If you plant and harvest, you can easily gain XP points, coins, and get rare items that you can use for upgrades or expansions just like mallets.
Check out Roadside Shops
The Roadside shop is where you can see items for sale from other farmers so pay a visit to every farmer within your reach if you want to get some rare materials that you need.
Rare items such as mallets are sold out in just a blink of an eye so you really have to be eager enough to get what you want!
Tap Your Sleeping Pets
Pets for me are like ice breakers whenever I play Hay Day because they’re all adorable in their own ways and taking good care of these charming ones is not a burden.
Keep feeding your pets if you want them to have the energy to roam around your farm and fell asleep once they feel tired and sleepy. That way, you’ll have the chance to wake them up and get some cool items after!
