It is widely known how terrible the heat is in the Philippines so people are really craving for something cold and refreshing most of the time and that’s how milk tea shops became one of the trends for the past years and up-to-date.
If you are in Metro, Manila, you may experience severe temperature conditions because of some obvious reasons. The lesser the trees are, the more scorching the place gets!
Makati has a lot of promising restaurants and of course, the best milk tea shops that you must try to feel more refreshed as you conquer the terrifying heat of the sun!
Macao Imperial Tea
Macao Imperial Tea is known for its refreshing milk tea options and a very convenient indoor dining space especially for those who are bringing their laptops or need charging for their phones as there are plenty of electrical outlets available.
The famous Black Pearl Milk Tea is also one of the highly recommended drinks in the shop because of its impressive taste and the paper cups are so cute with animal prints!
Location-wise, it’s convenient for everyone, just tell the driver to drop you off at Circuit Lane, and it’s across Coffee Bean.

Happy Lemon
Happy Lemon is one of the oldest milk tea shops in the Philippines and it has been running for almost a decade now since its opening way back in November 2010.
If you love new and refreshing taste that perfectly blends with your milk tea, then I suggest to try one of their recommended options which I’ve stated above.
Finding the right thirst quencher is a bit of a challenge since all Milk teas taste almost the same but with what this shop can offer, this might be added to one of your favorites.
Recommended Menu:
Black Tiger Milk tea (add on: puff cream), Milk Tea with RSC(rock salt & cheese), Cocoa with RSC, Lemon Yakult Smoothie
Reservation:
Advance reservation is not allowed but they do offer home delivery service so feel free to contact the shop directly.

Sunny Stone
Considered as a hole in the wall around Salcedo Village Makati, this place has a lot of fruit teas and other milk tea flavors that are well-blended and pretty stimulating!
The price is a bit higher compared to other milk tea shops that I’ve visited but if you get the most suitable flavor in the house, you’ll probably think of coming back more often.
Be careful though as sometimes you need to wait longer especially during lunch time so I suggest to avoid the peak hours if you can.
Recommended Menu:
Cheese fruit teas, Cheese tea series

Advance booking is not available but you can have it delivered right to your doorstep thru honestbee app.

Cha Tuk Chak
The signature milk tea flavors of Cha Tuk Chak are very promising considering the prices and the cups and lids are also reusable and very appealing.
The interior is also commendable with all those cute little decors that add up to the positive vibe of the entire place.
The waiting time is not as bad as the others out there but lately, it gets longer and longer so make sure to avoid peak hours when visiting the place.
Recommended Menu:
Cha Yen (with Dulce Pearls), Nom Yen, Koko Yen
Reservation:
Advance reservation is not accepted at the moment. If you hate the queue you can always opt for a home delivery service which the shop caters.
